A direct mixing convection heat exchanger has two mixing containers A (1) and B (2) communicated with each other. A high temperature fluid inlet (3) and a high temperature mixture outlet (301) are arranged on the mixing container A (1). A low temperature fluid inlet (4) and a low temperature mixture outlet (401) are arranged on the mixing container B (2). A counterflow passage (5) is provided in communication with the mixing containers A (1) and B (2), and a fluid pump (501) is arranged on the counterflow passage (5). According to the heat exchanger, the advantage of convective heat exchange is maintained and heat exchange efficiency is improved.
