<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which allows a nip position to be easily adjusted with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device comprises: a fixing roller support frame 61; a fixing roller 52; a position adjustment plate 71; and a press roller 53. The fixing roller 52 is supported by the fixing roller support frame 61. The position adjustment plate 71 is attached to the fixing roller support frame 61, at a position adjustable around a shaft center of the fixing roller 52. The press roller 53 is attached to the fixing roller support frame 61 via the position adjustment plate 71 and is brought into pressure-contact with the fixing roller 52.
