<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure rice cooker which certainly separates steam from rice gruel and releases only the steam to the outside, even when a plurality of pressure valves are simultaneously opened during cooking rice. <P>SOLUTION: The pressure rice cooker for cooking rice includes: a pot 6 for putting material to be cooked therein; a rice cooker body 2 for containing the pot 6 and cooking the material to be cooked; an openable and closable lid 9 closing an opening of the rice cooker body; and a controller for controlling heating means. The lid 9 is provided with: the pressure valves 38; valve opening mechanisms 43 for controlling the pressure valves to be opened; and a rice gruel reservation tank temporarily reserving the rice gruel ejected during opening the pressure valves, and releasing the steam to the outside. The lid 9 is provided with at least two or more pressure valves 38, the reservation tank 13 being a tank common to the pressure valves. The reservation tank 13 has an increased capacity corresponding to the number of the pressure valves 38, and internally has a flat chamber expanding widely in the horizontal direction. The chamber is divided into a rice gruel separation chamber, a steam collecting chamber, and a steam discharge path, and the steam discharge path is provided with a steam vent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
