<p>There is provided a method for the production of a composite thermoformable material substantially consisting of ground thermoplastic resins and decorative plastic laminates, arrived at the end of their life cycle, and of ground scraps and/or residues from the manufacture and working of decorative plastic laminates substantially composed of cellulose impregnated with thermosetting resins. The method also uses, as raw materials, ground scraps and/or residues from the production and/or the subsequent working of the composite material itself. In order to control the degradation of some mechanical properties of the material, the thermoplastic resin is mainly composed of regenerated, i.e. recycled, thermoplastic resin.
