<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for estimating booster negative pressure capable of accurately estimating the booster negative pressure by a simple constitution, and a vehicle control device capable of suitably preventing the shortage of the booster negative pressure by precisely grasping the booster negative pressure. <P>SOLUTION: A hydraulic brake system in which an electronic control unit 9 includes a brake booster 5 for assisting a brake stepping force by the booster negative pressure formed by using the intake negative pressure of an engine 1, and estimates the booster negative pressure by performing a step of arithmetically operating the braking deceleration of a vehicle from a detection result of a G sensor 11, a step of arithmetically operating a recovery quantity of the booster negative pressure in a specified arithmetic operation period, a step of arithmetically operating the consumption of the booster negative pressure in the arithmetic operation period based on the braking deceleration by using a function of the braking deceleration and the consumption of the booster negative pressure, and a step of arithmetically operating an estimate value of the booster negative pressure based on the arithmetically operated recovery quantity and consumption at each arithmetic operation period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
