<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous environmental battery that sustainably exhibits various functions such as sterilization over a long term as in the initial case by effectively preventing formation of a biofilm (microorganism coating film) even under an aqueous environment where bacteria contained in bath water are apt to propagate. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous environmental battery provides various functions, such as sterilization, antimicrobe, antifungus and moth proofing for passing water, flowing water or water storage, over a long term. In the aqueous environmental battery, a sterilization unit is formed by stacking base metal and noble metal in a coaxial manner through an interval retaining member. The sterilization unit is disposed in passing water or running water or immersed in water storage to generate a battery reaction with water as a medium in a uniform clearance space between the base metal and noble metal and to dissolve out metal ions from the base metal body under a completely ionized state, thus providing a sterilization function to water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
