PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder device which securely holds an output rod to a lock position.SOLUTION: An output rod (3) is inserted into a housing (2) so as to move forward and rearward in a vertical direction and revolve. A first piston (10) is inserted into a space between a cylinder hole (5) of the housing (2) and the output rod (3) and a second piston (11) is inserted into the lower side of the first piston (10). A guide mechanism (35) is provided between the cylinder hole (5) and the first piston (10). A driving mechanism (43) is provided between the first piston (10) and the output rod (3). A force of a pressure fluid of a lock chamber (17) provided between the first piston (10) and the second piston (11), which presses the second piston (11) to the lower side, is converted into an upward force by a booster mechanism (55) to be transmitted to the output rod (3). |
