PURPOSE: A method for improving the installing process of a thrust fin is provided to reduce work time in a dock by previously loading a thrust fin on a rudder horn block on the ground. CONSTITUTION: A method for improving the installing process of a thrust fin is as follows. A thrust fin(20) having a final sighting hole in the center is installed in a rudder horn block(30). The rudder horn block with the thrust fin is loaded on a ship in a dock using a crane. After the rudder horn block is loaded, a final sighting work is performed through the final sighting hole. A propeller is loaded on the rudder horn block depending on the final sighting.
