<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device which does not affect fine appearance of a product and provides easy polarity identification. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting device comprises: a housing 22; a light-emitting element 23; an encapsulation layer 27 to fill in the opening of the housing 22; and an optical member arranged to cover an upper part of the housing. The encapsulation layer includes a first fluorescent material. A polarity mark 30 comprised of materials including the first fluorescent material is arranged on a part of the upper part of the housing. The material including the first fluorescent material has a color same as that of the upper part of the housing 22 under a natural light. The first fluorescent material is excited by a prescribed wavelength different from that of the light emitted from the light-emitting element 23 and fluorescent light emitted from the first fluorescent material. Thereby, the polarity mark is not visible under the natural light and is recognizable only when the prescribed wavelength light is irradiated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
