<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a registration method and a system capable of preventing an improper registration of biological information by an authorized person for the system and enabling a user to register biological information securely at the time of biological information registration. <P>SOLUTION: The registration method of biological information in a biological information authentication system consisting of a client for obtaining the biological information of the user and a server for determining whether the biological information received from the client corresponds with pre-registered biological information or not to authenticate rightfulness of the user comprises a step for registering the biological information of the user himself/herself as signature information as proof of a confirmation that biological information of a third party is not included in the biological information to be registered by the user. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
