An arrangement for lifting a tower wall portion of a wind turbine, the arrangement comprising: a bar (101, 102) which is connectable to a coupling element of a lift; a first holding member (105) comprising a first engagement portion (106) which is adapted for engaging the tower wall portion (113) at a first position (115); and a second holding member (107) comprising a second engagement portion (108) which is adapted for engaging the tower wall portion at a second position (119) different form the first position, wherein the first holding member and the second holding member are releasably lockable at the bar such that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are a first distance (d1) away from each other and wherein the first holding member and the second holding member are releasably lockable at the bar such that the first engagement portion and the second engagement portion are a second distance (d1') away from each other, the second distance being different from the first distance. Further, a method for lifting a tower wall portion of a wind turbine is provided.
