The device (1) has a fixing body (4) assembled movably on a case (2) between an initial position in which the fixing body does not cooperate with a finishing piece (3) and a final position in which the fixing body cooperates with the finishing piece to fix the finishing piece on the case. A pallet (5) is designed and arranged on the case such that the pallet cooperates with the fixing body to move from its initial position till its final position during which the pallet is moved from its locking position till its unlocking position and when the fixing body occupies its initial position. An independent claim is also included for a vehicle comprising a lock.
