PEPTIDE ANALOGUE WITH HIGH ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTI-INFLAMMATORY ACTIVITIES DESIGNED FROM PAPILIOCIN PEPTIDE

PURPOSE: A novel derivative of papiliocin isoalted from Papilio xuthus larva is provided to ensure antibacterial activity against gram negative bacteria and gram positive bacteria. CONSTITUTION: A peptide is selected from sequence numbers 1-2. A pharmaceutical composition contains the peptide as an active ingredient without toxicity to human erythrocytes or mammal normal cells. An antibacterial composition against microorganisms contains a peptide selected among sequence numbers 1 and 2 as an active ingredient. The microorganisms are gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria, or antibiotics resistant strain. An anti-inflammatory composition contains the peptide of sequence number 1 as an active ingredient.
