PURPOSE: An advertisement providing method based on the location of a terminal and system thereof are provided to effectively transmit advertisement information by providing advertisement with network connection information. CONSTITUTION: An advertising server(30) stores advertisement data according to each advertisement area. When a terminal(20) is received an advertisement data request message, the advertisement server confirms an area where the terminal is connected. The advertisement server searches advertisement data corresponding to the advertisement area. The advertisement server provides the searched advertisement data to the terminal. The terminal outputs the provided advertisement data.
