<p>The effects of stereoscopic vision on health are prevented even when the disparity of left and right images is not appropriate. A camera and a television are connected (step S1), and the size of the television size is input from the camera (step S2). A disparity adjustment amount (v) is generated based on the television size which has been input (step S3), and left and right image data and the disparity adjustment amount (v) are transmitted to the television (step S4). The television which has received the left and right image data and the disparity adjustment amount (v) (step S101) adjusts the disparity of the left and right images by using the disparity adjustment amount (v) (step S102), cuts out a region that includes the imaged subject having the largest disparity from among imaged subjects in the left and right images, and displays the image on a small screen and at the size of the display section of the camera (step S103). The user confirms the image displayed on the small screen (step S5), and if there are no problems, the image is displayed in three dimensions at the full television screen size (step S104).</p> |
