A method for making a powder-like food colourant of raw vegetable material provides for sorting the raw vegetable material, washing, cutting, convective drying of the raw material, shredding the dried product and separation to fractions. According to the method, persimmon fruits are used as a raw vegetable material. Said fruits after shredding are dried in one stage at a temperature of a heat carrier of 50-60 °C up to a moisture content of 6-8 %, thereafter it is cooled up to 20 °C, powdered and separated to fractions. |
