Cyclic peptides comprising cationic amino acids and their use as antifungals

The use of a cyclic peptide comprising 3 to 50 arginine amino acids in the manufacture of a medicament for treating a fungal infection. The infection can be a dermatophyte infection in particular a Tinea infection or an infection caused by the genera Trichophyton, Epidermophyton or Microsporum. The dermatophyte can be Trichophyton interdigitale or T. rubrum.
