GENERATION METHOD OF IMAGE DATA WITH DITHER PROCESSING FOR STEREOSCOPIC IMAGE DISPLAY CARRIED OUT THEREON AND IMAGE DATA GENERATION APPARATUS FOR THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generation method of an image data with dither processing carried out thereon for displaying of a stereo or a three-dimensional image and an image data generation apparatus for the same.

SOLUTION: The generation method of the image data with the dither processing carried out thereon for displaying of a three-dimensional image comprises the steps of: reading out a dither sub-picture element value in accordance with an address including bits which indicates each of prescribed bits and a plurality of frames of an image data; adding the dither sub-picture element value on an image sub-picture element value of an image data; and generating an image data with the dither processing carried out thereon for each of frames, wherein adjacent frames having an odd and even number in the image data with the dither processing carried out thereon includes the image data with the same dither processing carried out thereon.
