<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently and simply detecting nucleic acid from a biological sample such as feces. <P>SOLUTION: The method for detecting nucleic acid in a biological sample includes: (A) a process of mixing the biological sample in a nucleic acid stabilizer solution containing an effective component of water-soluble organic solvent, and storing obtained suspension for a prescribed period of time; and (B) a process of conducting a reverse transcription reaction and/or a nucleic acid amplification reaction using part of the suspension obtained in the process (A) as a template solution for detecting nucleic acid in the suspension. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
