<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat not only inhibiting damage to the cervical vertebra of an occupant but absorbing an impact on the occupant when a rear end collision occurs at the vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicular seat 1 comprises a seat cushion 2 attached to a vehicle floor F so as to allow the occupant to seat, and a seat back 3 having a head rest 4. The seat back 3 is suspended from a vehicle roof R so as to be switched between a rear reclining state and an erecting state. The vehicular seat 1 is always held in a rear reclining state by a biasing force 34 of a first spring. The vehicular seat 1 is configured in such a manner that, upon a rear end collision, the seat back 3 rotates toward the vehicle rear around a suspension point of the ceiling roof R by the backward load of the occupant M applied to the seat back 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
