摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform gain compensation in consideration of the fact that a controller operates linearly only if the process output is in the range of the minimum output and maximum output, and the controller output saturates when the process output is outside this range. <P>SOLUTION: A temporary accumulated dispense value is stored when it is greater than or equal to a predetermined dispense saturation upper limit, or is less than or equal to a predetermined dispense saturation lower limit. An adjusted accumulated dispense value is calculated by subtracting the accumulated dispense value from the temporary accumulated dispense value and multiplying the difference by a predetermined optimized limit gain. A new accumulated dispense value is calculated by adding the adjusted accumulated dispense value to the accumulated dispense value.
