PURPOSE: An apparatus for fermenting and treating food waste is provided to prevent the generation of bad odor and to cost effectively ferment the food waste by forming an optimal environment for microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for fermenting and treating food waste includes a cover(4), a bad odor blocking plate, a first separating net(5), a rotating cutter, a second separating net(7), and a blocking plate. A deodorizing material is attached to the inner bottom side of the cover. The bad odor blocking plate blocks the spread of bad odor. The first separating net is capable of being slid to the horizontal direction at the lower side of the bad odor blocking plate and implements a first separating process with respect to food waste. The rotating cutter is installed at the lower side of the first separating net. The second separating net is installed between the rotating cutter and a microorganism fermenting bath. The blocking plate is installed between the second separating net and the microorganism fermenting bath. The blocking plate blocks waste water and discharges the waste water to a draining pipe. |
