PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling mill capable of increasing the rigidity of a roller (a backup roller) for supporting a band during the rolling operation while reducing the number of rollers equipped on the rolling mill, and suppressing the deflection of the backup roller when the band is pressed. SOLUTION: In the rolling mill 1, a backup roller 13 has a first backup roller 21 and a second backup roller 22 arranged parallel to each other. The first backup roller 21 has a first flange 23 formed as a maximum diameter part of the first backup roller 21, and the second backup roller 22 has a second flange 24 formed as a maximum diameter part of the second backup roller 22. The first backup roller 21 and the second backup roller 22 are arranged so that the positions in the axial direction are different, and the first backup roller 21 and the second backup roller 22 are arranged so that an outer circumference of the first flange 23 and an outer circumference of the second flange 24 have an overlapped portion.
