PURPOSE: A device for opening and closing a tapping hole of a molten steel furnace is provided to facilitate the opening and closing of a tap hole of a furnace by changing the location of a mud gun and drill according to the rotation of a rotary base. CONSTITUTION: A device for opening and closing a tapping hole of a molten steel furnace comprises a supporting frame(100), a reed frame(200), a base frame(300), a cross direction moving cylinder(400), a mud gun(600) and a drill(700). The supporting frame is perpendicularly fixed to a floor. The reed frame is combined in the supporting frame using a pin. A cross axis moving base is mounted on the rotary frame to slide in a cross direction. After the mud gun receives the mud material from outside and emits the mud material to a tap hole. The drill penetrates the mud material of the iron notch using the mud gun.
