PURPOSE: The volume and the weight are reduced and the manufacturing cost is reduced, the protective cap is easily attached to the tube member or it can devide. CONSTITUTION: A protection cap for a pipe comprises a base portion(110), a protrusion(120), a recessed portion(130), an elastic supporting rib unit(140), and a detachable knob unit. The base portion adheres closely to the end face of the pipe. In protrusion is the center of the base portion, it is projected to circular. It adheres closely to the inner circumference of the end of the pipe. When the protective cap is inserted into the pipe, the recessed portion forms the space contracting protrusion. It occurs the repulsive power about the contraction with the elasticity and the elastic supporting rib unit adheres closely protrusion. It contracts protrusion and the detachable knob unit devides protrusion from the pipe.
