A composter has at least one closeable filling opening on the upper side, three superimposed chambers inside, an upper intermediate base arranged between the upper chamber and the central chamber, a lower intermediate base arranged between the central chamber and the lower chamber, and at least one closeable lateral removal opening arranged in the region of the lower chamber. The lowermost chamber is downwardly open so that the ground forms the bottom. The composter also has, in the upper intermediate base, at least one compost transfer opening that can be closed by a rotatable cover, in the lower intermediate base, at least one compost transfer opening which can be closed by a rotatable cover, and in the central chamber, at least one scraper that can be displaced on the lower intermediate base for extracting compost from the central chamber. |
