INSULATION BOX FOR A LIQUEFIED GAS STORAGE TANK

摘要

PURPOSE: A heat insulation box for a liquefied gas storage tank is provided to maximize the capacity of a liquefied gas storage tank because of minimized height of a heat insulation box. CONSTITUTION: A heat insulation box(32,35) for a liquefied gas storage tank comprises a box body and a granular heat insulating material. The box body has a hollow space and transfers the load of cargo stored in a liquefied gas storage tank to a hull. The granular insulating material such as EPS(Expandable Polystyrene) beads is filled inside the box body.
