<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating device configured to circulate oil which suppresses an excessive increase in the temperature of a reaction body provided therein by high temperature oil. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricating device includes: a functional member 44 having the reaction body which functions to adsorb a predetermined component in the oil provided in an oil circulation path; and a suppression device for preventing the temperature of the reaction body of the functional member 44 from exceeding a predetermined temperature.
