<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic sensor which can improve manufacturing efficiency and can reduce manufacturing cost. <P>SOLUTION: An ultrasonic sensor comprises: an ultrasonic element 1 composed of an ultrasonic transducer, a container 10 having the ultrasonic transducer inside and having an opening to pass ultrasonic waves on one surface, and a terminal part 11 provided to protrude from the container 10 to feed the ultrasonic transducer; an enclosure 4 which has a horn part 20a composed of an opening to communicate with the opening of the ultrasonic element 1 on one surface and which has a housing part 20 to house the ultrasonic element 1; a print circuit board 5 which is positioned against the housing part 20 to hold the ultrasonic element 1 and which has the terminal part 11 of the ultrasonic element 1 packaged. The housing part 20 is composed of peripheral walls surrounding the ultrasonic element 1 and determines the position of the ultrasonic element 1 within the housing part 20 by multiple ribs 20b which are provided with the peripheral walls as a set and which are pressure-welding the ultrasonic element 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
