<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuitry for giving pre-emphasis to each bit which differs in a data value from an immediately preceding bit in a serial data signal, in the serial data signal. <P>SOLUTION: In the serial data signal, the circuitry gives the pre-emphasis to the each bit which differs in the data value from the immediately preceding bit in the serial data signal. The circuitry comprises: a first circuitry for applying a first electrical current into a circuit element in a direction indicating the data value of each succeeding bit; a second circuitry for applying a second electrical current into the circuit element in a direction opposite to the first current in response to a condition in which one bit has a same data value as that of the immediately preceding bit of the one bit; and a third circuitry for producing a serial data output signal based on the net amount and the direction of the electrical current in the circuit element. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
