<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data processor and a processing method capable of performing image composite determination with high accuracy and obtaining a high-quality camera shake corrected image. <P>SOLUTION: Input image data includes a reference image and a comparison image. There are provided motion data calculation means for calculating motion data between the reference image and the comparison image; block comparing means for calculating a difference of pixel values between the reference image and the comparison image for each block associated with the motion data; superposition ratio calculation means for calculating a superposition ratio of the comparison image to the reference image for each block based on the difference of the pixel values; image composite means for generating a composite image by superposing the comparison image on the reference image from the motion data and the superposition ratio; composite determination processing for determining whether or not a composite is performed by the image composite means based on a composite determination threshold; and composite determination threshold change means for changing the composite determination threshold.
