PURPOSE: A path guide method of a navigation device is provided to supply a user various information about a search path through a display part. CONSTITUTION: A path guide method of a navigation device is as follows. Expected arrival time information based on a section running average speed pre-stored from a search path(71) is calculated based on search request information. The arrival required time information is input through a key input part. It compares whether the arrival required time information exceeds the calculated expected arrival time information. If the arrival required time information exceeds the expected arrival time information, a desired course search window is activated.
