The present invention relates to a wireless handheld device comprising a screen and a keyboard. The keyboard comprises a first conductive film and a second conductive film arranged facing one another. The first conductive film is a lattice-patterned conductive film. Insulation particles are disposed between the first conductive film and the second conductive film. At least one key is disposed on the first conductive film. Each key, when pressed, enables the first conductive film to contact the second conductive film at a position corresponding to that key. When the first conductive film contacts the second conductive film, a control unit obtains the voltage of the contact position in a first direction and the voltage of the contact position in a second direction; determines the position coordinates of the contact position in the first direction and the position coordinates of the contact position in the second direction; and obtains the input information of the corresponding key on the basis of the determined position coordinates of the contact position in the first direction and position coordinates of the contact position in the second direction. The present invention improves the sensitivity of wireless handheld device keyboards as well as the efficiency with which wireless handheld devices obtain keyboard input information. |
