<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a permanent magnet type motor which has a magnet structure capable of enhancing torque in a rotor provided with a flux barrier. <P>SOLUTION: The permanent magnet type motor comprises a stator provided on the outer circumference and a rotor provided on the inner circumference of the stator coaxially therewith. In the permanent magnet type motor, outer circumferential flux barriers of which the number corresponds to the number of poles are arranged along the outer circumference in the vicinity of the outer surface of the rotor on a cross-section perpendicular to the rotating shaft, and two flux barriers 6 and 7 are arranged in parallel with a q-axis so as to ensure two magnetic paths 1 and 2 between the outer circumferential flux barriers, and two second permanent magnets 4 and 5 are arranged in a V-shape from an end on the side of an inner diameter of each flux barrier. The flux barriers are arranged so that, when a width of the magnetic path 1 between the two flux barriers 6 and 7 is w1 and a width of the magnetic path 2 between the flux barrier 6 (7) and ends 8 and 9 of the outer circumferential flux barrier is w2, relationship w1≤w2 is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
