<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that cost taken for conventional alignment is hard to reduce. <P>SOLUTION: The alignment apparatus includes: a camera 137 which takes images of reference nozzles of discharge heads; and a control 201 which acquires the positions of the heads based on the image results of the reference nozzles taken by the camera 137. The control 201 calculates correction to the positions of the heads based on the image results of the display patterns taken by the camera 137 at emitting light, based on kinds of the heads, from at least part of a plurality of the display pixels of an original 181 having a plurality of display pixels. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
