<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid ejecting apparatus and control method of liquid ejecting apparatus, which can suppress variations of ejecting characteristics accompanying a temperature change. <P>SOLUTION: A printer controller determines whether a temperature detected by a temperature sensor arranged at a recording head is within a predetermined range when the recording head moves outside a print area during printing. When the detected temperature is out of the predetermined range, print processing of the recording head for a recording medium is stopped.
