PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable information processing device simplifying volume adjusting operation when media data are reproduced using an external reproduction apparatus.SOLUTION: This portable information processing device 1 is equipped with: a speaker 19; a wireless LAN connection part 12 and an HDMI connection part 15 connectable to an external reproduction apparatus reproducing media data; a CPU 21 for controlling reproduction of the speaker 19; and a volume adjustment button 20 used in common upon volume adjustment of media data reproduced by the speaker 19 and the external reproduction apparatus; and is structured such that, when at least reproduction by the speaker 19 is not performed and reproduction by the external reproduction apparatus is performed, the CPU 21 changes over the object of volume control to reproduction volume of the external reproduction apparatus, and controls the reproduction volume of the external reproduction apparatus without performing the volume adjustment of the speaker 19 based on the adjustment operation of the volume adjustment button 20 by a user. |
