PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power conversion equipment for exerting reliable drive control of a switching element under both of normal and discharge conditions by preventing a signal for drive from being routed from one drive circuit to the other drive circuit.SOLUTION: The power conversion equipment includes a capacitor Ca, a switching element Qa, a normal-mode drive circuit 1, and a power supply 4 for normal-mode drive. The power conversion equipment also includes a discharge-mode drive circuit 2 for driving the switching element Qa in discharge of charge stored in the capacitor Ca, a power supply 5 for discharge-mode drive for actuating the discharge-mode drive circuit 2, and a routing prevention means 3 that is interposed between the power supply 4 for normal-mode drive and the switching element Qa and between the power supply 5 for discharge-mode drive and the switching element Qa, and prevents the signal for drive from one drive circuit toward the other drive circuit in the normal-mode drive circuit 1 and the discharge-mode drive circuit 2. |
