The invention relates to a method for producing nucleic acid duplexes. A plurality of different nucleic acid fragments is synthesised on a carrier and integrated after separation from the solid phase. The claimed method is characterised in that certain nucleic acid fragments are synthesised in larger quantities than other fragments. The fragments synthesised in larger quantities are generally AT-rich nucleic acid fragments having a lower melting temperature.
