PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a zirconia coating agent which achieves the formation, in the inside wall of a crucible used for a solid cathode treatment in the reprocessing of metal fuel, of a coating layer that eliminates any residual binders affecting the quality of ingots and the like while preventing the reaction of molten uranium metal with the crucible and can also be removed easily from the inside wall of the crucible after the solid cathode treatment.SOLUTION: In the coating agent for the inside wall of the crucible used for the solid cathode treatment in the reprocessing of metal fuel, which contains stabilized zirconia beads and impalpable powder of stabilized zirconia as main constituents; an organic binder is used as a binder, the stabilized zirconia beads have insinterable particle diameters and the impalpable powder of the stabilized zirconia has sinterable particle diameter. |
