Disclosed is a mist cooling apparatus (3) which is provided with: a cooling system (30), which has nozzles (35, 35A) that spray, in a mist-state, a cooling liquid to a subject to be treated, said subject having been heated and disposed in a cooling furnace (10), and which also has a pump (33) that is driven by a drive source and makes the cooling liquid flow toward the nozzles (35, 35A); and a second cooling system (40), which operates corresponding to stop of the drive source, and which cools the subject. |
