PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a target for which information should be presented or a target which should be used for control of behavior of a vehicle by considering a road shape and a positional relation of the vehicles in a technique of presenting a state around the vehicle to a driver as information to assist the driver's recognition of the state around the vehicle or controlling the behavior of the vehicle according to the state around the vehicle to ensure safety of the vehicle.SOLUTION: Based on a current location of the vehicle and map data, a predicted driving route of the vehicle 3 is specified, positions of crossing point map-creating points 22 to 27 on the predicted driving route are set, an orientation of the vehicle at each point is predicted based on predicted tracks 31 and 32 that pass the points 22 to 27, crossing attention areas where attention should be paid during driving are specified, direction ranges of the attention areas viewed from the vehicle in the crossing point map-creating point in the predicted orientation is calculated, and based on the calculated direction range, a crossing point map showing correspondence relation between the direction viewed from the vehicle and a degree of risk is created. |
