PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access control system capable of suppressing an unauthorized entering action such as the unintended followed entrance of a user by displaying the authentication state of the user.SOLUTION: The access control system includes a user management device; a display device worn by a user, the device changing display by a control signal from the user management device; and a location detection device which detects that the display device exists in a predetermined area near the entrance and reports that effect to the management device. The user management device includes a storage unit storing correspondence information indicating user-display device correspondence; an authentication means which authenticates whether a moving user is qualified for entrance/exit; a determination means which determines whether the user corresponding to the display device is authenticated by the authentication means based on a detection signal from the location detection device, and determines an unauthenticated state if he/she is not authenticated; and a display control means which makes the display device for which the unauthenticated state is determined by the determination means display the unauthenticated state. |
