PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for improving the quality of tea leaves by increasing the flavor of the tea leaves.SOLUTION: One of a UV-C ultraviolet light or a green light or both of them are irradiated on the tea leaves collected from the tea trees, to directly activate the oxidizing enzyme in a plant body without withering the tea leaves. Thereby, the flavor of the tea leaves and extracted liquid and the drink taste of the extracted liquid are improved, with great improvement in the quality of the tea leaves. |
