PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter medium cleaning device and a water purifier which are small and can easily and safely clean a filter medium.SOLUTION: The filter medium cleaning device 400 with which the water purifier 1 is equipped includes a first water passage 421, a second water passage 422 and a third water passage 423 and is provided with a water passage 420 circulating water for cleaning a micro-filter 114, an ion generator 410 arranged outside the water passage 420 and generating H(HO)(m is an any natural number) as a positive ion and O(HO)(n is an any natural number) as a negative ion and a connection channel 430. The first water passage 421 is arranged in the relative upstream side in the direction of water flowing through it. The second water passage 422 is formed in the downstream side of the first water passage 421 to pressurize water. The third water passage 423 is formed in the downstream side of the second water passage 422 to reduce the pressure of water. The diameter of the second water passage 422 is the smallest among those of the first, second and third water passages. The connection channel 430 is connected to the second water passage 422. |
