The image generating device may include: a two-dimensional view determining circuit configured to determine a two-dimensional view of a three-dimensional object showing the three-dimensional object from a virtual camera position; a data structure acquiring circuit configured to acquire a data structure representing a connection structure of elements of the three-dimensional object in the two-dimensional view based on a distance between the three-dimensional object and the virtual camera position in the two-dimensional view of the three-dimensional object; a hidden area determining circuit configured to determine at least one area of the three-dimensional object which is hidden in the two-dimensional view based on the data structure; an input acquiring circuit configured to acquire an input of a user; and a generating circuit configured to generate an image wherein at least one of the at least one determined area is displayed based on the input of the user.
