PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition for casting which is excellent in dielectric breakdown characteristics, prevents the generation of a crack due to a heat cycle, and is excellent in insulation and impregnating ability, and a coil component using the same.SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition for casting contains (A) an epoxy resin, (B) silica particles, and (C) a curing agent, wherein the silica particles (B) contain ≥70 mass% of silica particles (B-1) pulverized by a jet milling process. The coil component is obtained by cast-molding the epoxy resin composition for casting. |
