摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved technology for a drive wheel hub unit capable of preventing occurrence of the noise of stick slip by surely inhibiting occurrence of slipping phenomenon while achieving weight reduction and lowering of cost.SOLUTION: The drive wheel hub unit is provided with a stationary wheel 2, rotary wheel 4 (hub 12, inner-wheel constructive body 16), and a plurality of rolling elements 18, wherein the inner-wheel constructive body is fitted into a recessed part 12s while CVJ 92 (a bolt 80) is inserted into the through-hole 12t of the hub 12, thus the rotary wheel is fixed on CVJ with the hub and inner-wheel constructive body is abutted to CVJ. In this drive wheel hub unit, CVJ has a plurality of spline teeth 92b formed at a prescribed interval along the radial direction with respect to abutting surface 92a to which the hub and inner-wheel constructive body are abutted, while the hub and inner-wheel constructive body have a plurality of spline teeth 12b, 16b formed at a prescribed interval along the radial direction which are capable of being meshed with the spline teeth on the foregoing abutting surface with respect to edge surfaces 12a, 16a to which CVJ is abutted.
