PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document management device for performing notification only when a portion related to a user is changed in a document, and to provide a document management method, and a document management program.SOLUTION: An MFP includes: an HDD 116 for storing a document; a designation part receiving part 147 for receiving an arbitrary part designated by the user in the stored document as a designation part; an associating part 141 for making the designation part associated with a notification destination; a changing part 151 for changing the stored document; and a notifying part 155 for performing notification to the notification destination associated with the designation part when the designation part includes at least a part of the change part which is changed in the stored document by the changing part 151.
