<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated inorganic powder object which excels in dispersibility to each of resins, in which flame retardancy can be given without reducing physical properties of a molding, and further which can improve water resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The surface treated inorganic powder object comprises surface treating an inorganic powder object by an organopolysiloxane obtained from a raw material including: a compound of X<SB>m</SB>(R<SP>2</SP>)<SB>n</SB>Si(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>(4-m-n)</SB>, wherein X, R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>are each a monovalent hydrocarbon group, m is 1 or 2, n is 0 or 1, m+n is 1 or 2, or partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof; or this and a compound of (OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>3-q</SB>(R<SP>2</SP>)<SB>q</SB>Si-Y-Si(R<SP>2</SP>)<SB>p</SB>(OR<SP>1</SP>)<SB>3-p</SB>, wherein Y is a divalent organic group or -(R<SP>4</SP>-Si(R<SP>3</SP>)<SB>2</SB>)<SB>s</SB>-(OSi(R<SP>3</SP>)<SB>2</SB>)<SB>r</SB>-R<SP>5</SP><SB>t</SB>-, R<SP>3</SP>is a monovalent hydrocarbon group, R<SP>4</SP>is a divalent hydrocarbon group, R<SP>5</SP>is O or a divalent hydrocarbon group, r is 1-40, s and t are each 0 or 1, p and q are each 0-3, p+q is 0-4 or partially hydrolyzed condensate thereof, using a liquefied hydrolysis and condensation catalyst which becomes a separation status from the polysiloxane to be formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
